Flame Sensor Overview
Detects flames by sensing the ultraviolet (UV) rays they emit, triggering an immediate alarm, and activating a connected system like a security. These sensors can function from a distance and even through some obstructions, providing a fast response to fire before it escalates. Some models include an internal sounder, low battery indicators, and a dry contact output (form C) for professional applications, along with adjustable sensitivity and a delay timer.
